XMReality Launches Integration with Microsoft Teams; Joins Microsoft Partner Network
Partner Network Allows XMReality to Engage with Microsoft’s Global Ecosystem, Market XMReality Remote Guidance Through Its Channels
PORTSMOUTH, N.H.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#augmentedreality—XMReality today launched a new app for Microsoft Teams that simplifies the initiation of an XMReality Remote Guidance call, making it possible to seamlessly transition from Microsoft Teams chats and meetings to a remote guidance call.
Many of XMReality’s customers, including Nestlé, Heineken, ABB and Electrolux already, have established ways of working inside Microsoft Teams. The integration is an important step towards being part of their existing workflows, increasing the ease-of-use and reducing the friction of starting a remote guidance call.
XMReality has also joined the Microsoft Partner Network as an independent software vendor. This partnership is part of XMReality’s continued focus on its core strategy “ease of use,” in which being present on user devices and in daily workspace is crucial to drive use.
By providing new channels to reach potential customers, the partnership enables XMReality to reach global audiences and new business opportunities more easily. In addition, many XMReality users today use one or more Microsoft products, and the partnership is a starting point for launching XMReality on Microsoft devices and integrating XMReality with Microsoft software.
According to Jörgen Remmelg, CEO of XMReality, “We are proud to announce this partnership, which will give us the possibility to reach new customers and users through Microsoft’s established marketing and software distribution channels. With this partnership we will also be able to give our current customers a more seamless XMReality experience on both Microsoft devices and inside Microsoft software.”
XMReality, together with Microsoft technicians, have thoroughly validated the Teams application before launch. It is available through Microsoft Teams built-in Apps page and on Microsoft AppSource, enabling XMReality users to share call links in Microsoft Teams chats and meetings.
