Scitex Digital Video Wins Fourth Emmy

World Leader In Digital Video Technology Recognized For Development Of Digital Disk Recorders

New York, NY--The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has presented Scitex Digital Video with its fourth Technical Emmy Award, in a ceremony held in New York City on October 12.

The 1998 Emmy, which recognizes the pioneering role of AbekasR disk recording technology, is awarded in the category of 'Development and Implementation of Digital Uncompressed Tapeless Recording and Playback Technology. "This is the fourth time the Academy has recognized Scitex Digital Video for advancing the state of the art in digital video technology," says John Cannon, President of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

"It's especially gratifying to receive this Emmy now, as shipments get underway for our fourth-generation Abekas disk recorder, the ReplayTM media file server and on-air playback system," says Dan Wright, President and CEO of Scitex Digital Video.
