First Look: AV Bros. Puzzle Pro 3.0

Add puzzle effects to your images By John Virata

AV Bros. Puzzle Pro 3.0 is a Photoshop plugin filter that enables you to create cool puzzle looks with your Photoshop images. When you launch AV Broz Puzzle Pro 3.0, the plug-ins interface opens which enables you to further tweak the puzzle look of an image. Working in the interface, you can make adjustments to the knob size, as well as the knive thickness (the cut of the puzzle), to create interesting looks.

You can also custom create your own knife shapes and save them as a preset. Once you've applied your knives and made the cut, you can go ahead and bevel the image, which now features the familiar puzzle look to it. Once you've made the cut, Puzzle Pro switches to Puzzle mode, which enables you to make adjustments such as adding bevels, changing opacity, and so forth.

In addition to applying bevels to the image, you can adjust the bevel size, depth, and sfotness, as well as the angle and altitute of the bevel. You can also adjust highlight and shadow opacity. In addition to custom tweaking the Bevel attributes, you can also select the auto adjustments to have the plug-in do it for you. Other attributes that you can adjust in Puzzle Pro 3.0 include hue/saturation, brightness/contrast, Gaussian Blur, Motion Blur, Opacity, Color Overlay, Image Overlay, and Stroke.

AV Bros. Puzzle Pro 3.0 is available for both Windows and macintosh and works with Adobe Photoshop and other image editing applications. It is real easy to use and is priced at $49.95.
