DVD Studio Pro Quick Tip: Stories

Don't re-encode your footage; repurpose it!
2. Define the story. Now, with the new story selected in the Outline tab, go into the Story tab. Here you'll see a two-column view with each of your chapters listed on the left.

To define the story, simply select all of the chapters you want to be in the story and drag them over to the right-hand column. (Command-A selects all; you can also Shift-click and Command-click to pick chapters selectively.)

And now you have a story.

3. Connect the story. Now you go back tot he Outline tab, select your story and drag it onto your "Play All" button. (Or simply drag it onto the canvas to create a new button connected tot he story.)

Now, since the individual elements within a story have no end jumps, the movie can be played clean through without jumping back tot he main menu after each chapter.
