DVD Studio Pro Scripting

Project 1: Creating a 'last viewed' button
Finally, we need to attach these three scripts to our three tracks. This way, when Track 1 plays, it will invoke Script 1, which sets the GPRM 0 to a value of 1; when Track 2 plays, it will invoke Script 2, which will set the GPRM 0 to 2; and when Track 3 plays, it will invoke Script 3, which will set the GPRM 0 to 3. SImple enough conceptually, even if you're not sure what all of the specific parameters mean, right?

In order to do this, select Track 1 in the Outline tab. Then, in the Inspector palette, set the Pre-Script to Script 1.

Then select Track 2 and set its Pre-Script to Script 2; select Track 3 and set its Pre-Script to Script 3.

That's it for scripting the individual tracks. Time to move on to the script for the "View Previous" button.
