Newly Launched International Association of YOU Lands First Non-Profit to Host Their Podcast on the Storytelling Platform(February 29, 2012)
Reading, PA (PRWEB) February 29, 2012
Thirteen year old host Maddie Woytovich is taking the air waves by storm to bring attention to Children's Alopecia. The Children's Alopecia Project (CAP) joins Express Yourself Talk Radio at the International Association of YOU.
CAPtivating Conversations is a radio show hosted by the Children's Alopecia Project's original CAP Kid, Maddie Woytovich. Through CAPtivating Conversations, Maddie, who has had Alopecia since she was 5, interviews supporters about how CAP has influenced or changed their lives or the lives of people they know. Maddie is almost 14 years old and is getting ready to start high school in the fall. She is smart, beautiful, has lots of friends, and, most importantly, she is happy. She plays sports and dreams of going to F.I.T. and being a fashion designer or stylist some day. Maddie lives with her parents, who founded CAP, and her three sisters, Helena, Sofie, and Amelia.
Toni Reece, partner at International Association of YOU said, "Maddie has a sophisticated innocence in her interviewing style that is refreshing and easy to listen to. We are honored to host her podcast."
The Children's Alopecia Project (CAP) was incorporated in 2004 as the only non-profit organization devoted specifically to children with alopecia. Their mission is to help any child in need living with hair loss. They do so by raising awareness about the disease, building self-esteem in children living with alopecia areata, and providing support for them and their families. Programs include monthly CAP Kid support meetings and activities in 15 states and in Hong Kong, the CAP Kid Library Program, and a National CAP Kid Connections Program. Alopeciapalooza, CAP's annual camp, is a long weekend dedicated to empowering kids with alopecia and providing them and their families with a change of focus from growing hair to growing self-esteem.
The International Association of YOU launched in December 2011 and was established for the sole purpose of assisting small business, non-profits and individuals tell their stories in a genuine manner. IAY provides coaching, support and marketing to drive traffic to their clients on-demand podcasts, video series and digital and print works.
