Barnes & Noble Launches New NOOK HD Barnes & Noble's new NOOK HD product line is available for pre-order today. There will be two models of the high definition tablets, the NOOK HD and NOOK HD+. The standard model will sport a 7 inch screen and will retail for $199. The HD+ tablet will have a 9 inch display and cost $269 dollars. Both the HD and HD+ are the lightest tablets in their size ranges. The new devices will be capable of displaying over 3 million books, magazines, and applications. In addition, the new NOOKs will be able to take advantage of the new NOOK Video and NOOK Catalog platforms. The tablets will officially launch in early November. Read More
