X5FitnessCamp.com Introduces Corrective Exercises to Strengthen the Knees(November 30, 2012)
San Diego, CA (PRWEB) November 30, 2012
Vishy Dadsetan, the owner of X5 Fitness Camp, a personal & small-group training center in San Diego, CA introduces two-hour sessions focused on helping clients understand the connection between ankle mobility, muscle imbalances around the knee joint, hip stability, knee pain and knee strengthening exercises.
Within the first fifteen minutes of their session which includes sophisticated 3D animation, clients understand how their ankle and their hip create stability or instability in their knees, says Dadsetan. Often client dont get results because they are trying to solve the wrong problem. Focusing on the knee itself and disregarding other parts of the body that impact the knee is like chasing smoke instead of dealing with fire.
X5 process always includes a systematic approach to expansion of awareness. The progression of awareness in the sessions related to strengthening the knee begins with understanding how a persons emotions and self-image impact the way she stands and sits, followed by physical aspects of posture and simple exercises for clients to see and feel muscle imbalances around their ankle, knee and hips.
According to the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, about 150,000 ACL injuries occur in the United States every year, Dadsetan explains. A training protocol that helps adjust and balance the nerve signals going to the muscles is one of the most effective ways to prevent these types of injuries.
X5 knee strengthening exercises consider the difference in anatomy between men and women and how this difference impacts their posture and their muscles.
I came to X5 with a knee and a shoulder injury. I could only squat down for a few inches because of the knee injury, recalls Jennifer Snodgrass, one of X5 Fitness Camp clients. Fast-forward to now. I can do full kettlebell squats, TRX single leg squats, kettlebell shoulder press and dozens of other exercises effortlessly.
You can watch a video recording of a session at the link below:
All aspects of freedom from spiritual to physical involve the ability to move without restrictions and in harmony with other parts of life, describes Dadsetan. Freedom of motion in its very basic physical form involves walking and sitting. Those with knee pain know how difficult these simple acts could be. And those in sports know that without a strong and stable knee, their performance suffers and chances of injury increases.
