Welcome to The Lobby! ActiveGroup Ventures, Inc. Releases User-based Content Management and Collaboration Center for Marketing Researchers
(August 30, 2012)Atlanta/London/Sofia (PRWEB) August 30, 2012
Today, ActiveGroup announces the official release of its re-envisioned, re-engineered, and re-named core product, The Lobby.
When you totally redesign your core product, there is an inherent risk involved, says Brian Sites, Director Global Product Management and Marketing for ActiveGroup Ventures, Inc. The product must have greater ease-of-use than what your clients are already accustomed to. But it must add value and features that the clients expect--as well as add features that they may not have considered. Its a tough balance. We think the Lobby knocks it out of the park on all points.
The Lobby will replace ActiveGroups longstanding video streaming interface, the ClientLounge. With the introduction of The Lobby, ActiveGroup has re-envisioned its core offering, developing a user experience similar to that which researchers have become accustomed to with other web-based services, but with a focus on the ever-expanding forms of qualitative data that researchers can now generate across a variety of methodologies.
First, what this experience offers is a user-based entry systemclients have one user name and password to access all of their live and on-demand content. Second, all of the researchers content is housed and accessible directly from their user account, so past events are as easily accessible as live events. And last, by giving clients access to all of their content in one area, ActiveGroup is also offering more control over sharing that contentresearchers can invite those clients and colleagues they wish to collaborate with in their research projects.
The Lobby offers us a new foundation upon which to build a whole host of new services, says David Nelems, President and Founder. Marketing research has changed dramatically in the last decade. Simply providing a point-to-point service is no longer enough. Technology companies have to innovate and start offering new ways for researchers to engage and digest the ever-expanding amount of qualitative data they are inundated with.
While the initial release of The Lobby is a major update to ActiveGroups core video streaming offering, future updates will bring in more tools to assist researchers in analyzing and reporting on their qualitative data. We envision The Lobby will be the ecosystem for researchers to analyze and report on all of their facility-based, online, and mobile research. We have big plans.
