TuneIn and Buckley Radio Partner, Making 12 Stations, WOR Radio Easier to HearWOR News Talk Radio 710 to Use TuneIn as Primary Mobile Streaming Solution (March 20, 2012)
PALO ALTO, CA and GREENWICH, CT -- (Marketwire) -- 03/20/12 -- TuneIn, the worldwide leader in radio streaming, and Buckley Radio, a privately held broadcasting company, today announced a partnership making Buckley Radio flagship NYC WOR Radio and 11 additional stations in six U.S. markets available to over 30 million people across 150 connected products through the TuneIn service.
Under the agreement, 12 of Buckley Radio's AM and FM radio stations in New York, Connecticut and California will be available for the first time through the TuneIn service. WOR New York, with over 1,000,000 listeners per week, will use TuneIn as its primary mobile streaming solution for worldwide listening. TuneIn is a free service that lets people listen to music, sports and news from around the world.
