The Castle of Darkness Reaches New Depths of Terror at Screams® in Waxahachie

  (October 11, 2012)

Waxahachie, TX (PRWEB) October 11, 2012

FoxNews.com recently listed Screams® as one of the six scariest Halloween-themed parks in the country, along with Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights (Florida), Nights of Horror at Luna Park (Coney Island), Kings Island Halloween Haunt (Ohio), and Six Flags Fright Fest (New Jersey).

This years attractions include the 3D Pirates of Peril Point, The Arcane Asylum, Unkel Koys Klown Maze, The Ghoulish Graveyard, and the all new Castle of Darkness.

The new caverns, monsters, and special effects in The Castle of Darkness have proven to be a favorite among guests surveyed. As guests descend into the dark depths of a medieval castle, including a new level, and venture through twisting corridors they encounter classic Halloween monsters and other creatures of the dark. Texas Haunts review says, The Castle is a vast dungeon, with three levels, torture devices, dark, creepy lighting, and lots of actors lurking in the shadows.

The $24.99 admission includes all five haunted attractions, live bands on the Main Stage, Scaryoke, and roaming characters. Additional excitement is provided by the Mythical Monster Museum and Trail of Terror, Screams® Café, Taboo Tavern, Full Moon Café & Bar, Hot Seat Extreme, Veg-ta-bul Justice, games of skill, and rides.

Screams® is open Friday and Saturday nights, September 28 to October 27 from 7:30 PM to 1:30 AM and Sunday night, October 28, from 7:30 PM to 11 PM.
