TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. Attends ABSA 60th Annual Biological Safety Conference(October 13, 2017)
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Oct. 13, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. (“TOMI”) (OTCQX:TOMZ), a global decontamination company that specializes in disinfection/decontamination sales and services, including SteraMist™, a hydrogen peroxide-based mist/fog registered with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (“EPA”) for use as a hospital-healthcare disinfectant, will exhibit at the 60th annual biological safety conference of ABSA, the American Biological Safety Association, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, October 13-18th. This conference offers an opportunity to learn best practices protocols in the industry and network with biosafety and biosecurity professionals from all over the world. It will also feature exhibits showcasing the latest in laboratory biosafety and biosecurity products and services, of which SteraMist™ is included.
The three-day intensive course load includes presentations on a variety of topics including facing the next pandemic, compliance and regulatory issues, international biosafety and decontamination technologies. One highlighted speaker of decontamination methods is Miguel Grimaldo, Assistant Professor for the Department of Pathology, Director of Institutional Biocontainment Resources at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) and the Director of the Biocontainment Engineering Division for the Galveston National Laboratory. His speaking topics address biocontainment in laboratory operations and facility biosafety. Specifically, in one of his panel discussions, Grimaldo will review Decontamination with Cold Plasma Activated Ionized Hydrogen Peroxide.
