Maui Wowi Hawaiian Gets Back to the Future for its 2012 International Conference(September 15, 2012)
Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) September 15, 2012
Workshops, seminars, and hands on training will be the focus at the 2012 Maui Wowi Hawaiian International Conference, set to take place October 15-17 in Denver, Colorado. The coffee and smoothie franchise company, celebrating its 30th anniversary, will be welcoming operators from around the world to join the CEO, Michael Haith, and Founder, Jill Summerhays, for three days of informative sessions to help grow their business.
The conference gives our franchise operators the chance to bond with one another, meet vendors face-to-face, and gain knowledgeable insight from Maui Wowi Executives and leaders in the franchise system, said Erin Hicks, Executive Vice President. The opportunity for Maui Wowi franchisees to hear firsthand from the CEO and the Founder about the growth, expectations, and future of the company are invaluable assets to our Ohana (family.)
The bi-annual conference was developed by a committee of Maui Wowi franchisees who have worked to create content of value to the entire system. We are featuring presentations from over 30 individual franchise operators. Where better to learn best practices from than through the experiences of those who live it every day? said Hicks.
The conference theme is Back to the Future: Success Simplified and will also celebrate the Denver based companys 30 years in business, serving all-natural, fresh fruit smoothies and Hawaiian coffees. The three day event will include general and breakout sessions to give each franchisee a customized experience that will bring more benefit to their individual businesses.
Because our franchise models are so versatile and can vary depending on the operator, we wanted to cater our sessions to fit both mobile and fixed location owners with all levels of experience, said Hicks.
Franchisees will have the opportunity to participate in hands on training, as well as gain expertise and tools that will help motivate and increase effectiveness in day to day operations. Other topics include managing social media, finding event opportunities, and a Barista training and certification class. The international conference will also have an awards ceremony to celebrate and highlight some of the companys exceptional operators and will conclude with an interactive contest and a final takeaway to lead the company through the next 30 years.
