Gioteck Search for Visionary Gamers to Design the Future

The biggest event in the gaming calendar, The Golden Joystick Awards, Design Challenge 2013 announced that its search for the next visionary gaming peripheral designer is now on.

Budding designers are challenged to submit initial 2D concept designs for their vision of what will drive the next generation of gaming peripherals. The best 12 will be taken forward to a live 'Dragon's Den' style pitch where entrants will have the opportunity of a lifetime, presenting their ideas to a panel of leading industry experts and the chance to win the ultimate prize for any gaming enthusiast.

With a prize package worth up to £500,000, the winner will receive a 12 month paid apprenticeship with Gioteck's development team, plus the opportunity to put their own gaming design concept into mass production, earning royalties from sales as well as a MacBook Pro and CAD software.

As an added bonus, the Gioteck Design Challenge winner will be flown out to Hong Kong then on to China on a fascinating trip to see the manufacturing process of Gioteck products at a major electronics factory.
