CSS Corp Introduces State-Of-The-Art Line Of Epoxy Coatings(October 02, 2017)
US-based construction supplies provider Construction Systems Supplies Corp. introduces their top of the line Anti-Corrosion Coatings. Made with 100% solids, CSS president Ron Riva boasts the excellent corrosive resistance their seven ACC (Anti-Corrosive Coatings) can provide.
“My products work; they’re built to last; and are competitively priced,” said Riva on his website CSSCORP.Net. According to him, the 38-year history of CSS Corp can speak for the reliability and quality of their products.
The first one in their line of epoxy coatings is the Eco-polymer SP 2000W. According to CSS Corp's website, SP-2000W is a FDA-approved industrial substance that is safe for food containment facilities. First, produced in 1990, the product has since become the leading the race among hybrid novolac industrial coatings.
Eco-polymer SP 2000R, on the other hand, is a VOC-free (Volatile Organic Compounds) epoxy. VOC’s are compounds that make the fumes from other epoxy coatings flammable. The R of 2000R represents the use of recycled tire rubber making the product extra-durable and environmentally friendly.
Third off is the Eco-Polymer SC-3300. Like the first two, SC-3300 is also a 100% solids industrial coating perfect for maintaining concrete and metal surfaces. What’s new is that SC-3300 ceramic-filled novolac coating that is designed to provide superior, long-term chemical resistance perfect as a tank liner.
SC-5400 is an excellent heat resistance and chemical resistant coating for secondary containment or storage tanks. According to their website, the product can withstand extreme stress levels form 98% sulfuric acid, 100% phosphoric acid, 35% nitric acid, 100% hydrofluoric acid.
CSS Corp. offers other specialty epoxy coatings such as SC-3000M (a high cross-link density; ceramic-filled novolac coating), SC5600 (a long-term use heat and chemical stress tank lining), and, lastly, Rust Preventer (a two-part epoxy used to prevent anti-metal corrosion coating).
“We have used many of your products in the refinery with great success. The range of capability is exceptional, as is the service. We use these coatings for heat exchanger components, acid and caustic tanks, ion exchange vessels, containment, pipe relining, and tube sheets. Our on-site people report that the coatings are more ‘friendly’ than others, which helps us do a better job,” testified Jeff Adams, Senior Refinery Inspector, and Painting and Coatings Specialist of Phillips 66 Company.
