CSA Awarded SPAWAR 2.0 CMPG Contract

Client Solution Architects LLC (CSA) is proud to announce the award of a contract to provide acquisition management support services for Space and Naval Warfare Systems Commands (SPAWARs) Competency Code 2.0. This competency code is responsible for providing contracting officers/specialists and supporting staff to perform contracting actions for Team SPAWAR. Team SPAWAR includes the Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I); PEO Space Systems and PEO Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS). Team SPAWAR works collaboratively with the Cyber and C4ISR communities providing net centric war fighting capabilities around the world.

CSA will be assisting in the update and maintenance of the Contract Management Process Guide (CMPG), which is designed to provide authoritative guidance on contract policy and procedures within

SPAWAR. The CMPG streamlines and consolidates the acquisition process into a one-stop location that assists the acquisition workforce decision-making process, and is extensively used in developing acquisition packages.

Being entrusted by SPAWAR 2.0 to update and evolve the CMPG is a great vote of confidence in CSAs Contracts Management capability, said Brian Keller, CSAs Director of Operations, San Diego. As CSAs former Contracts Management Functional Manager, I personally used the CMPG to train our employees on SPAWARs contracts process, so I know first-hand how valuable the guide is to our user community. CSA is excited to have the opportunity to help advance this critical tool over the next half decade.

CSAs acquisition management consultants are required to stay abreast of all DoD/DoN procurement related regulations and policies. CSA will be responsible for updating narrative content, flowcharts, timelines, checklists and templates contained within the CMPG in order to incorporate changes from DoD/DoN Memorandums, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and local regulations that alter the existing processes and policies. CSA will also prepare graphics, briefings, web pages and multimedia presentations, including, illustrations, diagrams and charts.
