Text Depth Page 4 of 5 Step 12: Click on the Materials Set Up radio button located at the top of the Set-Up window. You will see the outline of the bevel you have selected as well as the surface numbers assigned to each of those segments. By default all of the surfaces are assigned to the #1 material. What you need to do is to split the surfaces up so other materials may be assigned. ![]() ![]() Step 14: From the palette section, drag the number 2 ball and drop it on the number 1 ball that represents the bevel of the object. When you release the number 2 will have replaced the number 1. Since the audience will not be seeing the back of the object (and because the back faces are turned off), it is okay that the back and front surfaces share the same material options. ![]() Step 15: It is now time to assign materials to the surfaces. Click on the Materials Tab on the right side of the Invigorator Set-Up window. The Materials Tab contains some predefined materials that can be added to the surfaces of an object. ![]() Step 16: You can explore the different ways of creating and manipulating surfaces on your own.
