Looks pretty good so far, but it could be better. If we were to place a star field image in the background (say from the JPL website), we run into a problem. The Adjustment Layer causes any layer underneath it to take on the effect applied to that layer. So our star field also blurs out.
Step 9: To combat this, Pre-Compose the Adjustment Layer and the Noise layer. This results in the following image.[an error occurred while processing this directive]

With some slight modification, this effect can be applied to any composition for a quick and dramatic effect.

Giving it a little color
The problem with Fractal Noise is that it generates a black and white pattern. For some of your Halo projects, this might work great, but I would bet at some point you will want to add a little color.
The solution is to add the Colorama effect to the Noise layer. After applying this effect and adjusting the Output Cycle, you can get nearly any color combo you desire.
For the above two images, I used the default Solarize Red and changed the Red to Yellow and Blue.
