Choose the one you created in Step 3. Once you choose your folder, an automatic search timer is launched, which will automatically detect when a new multi-machine render file is placed into the Watch Folder. Rendering for multiple engines
So now you have your secondary rendering application waiting to get started. All you have to do now is open your project in the main After Effects application to get it set up. This is quite simple, but I'll take you through it step by step to make sure you get it right.

1. Select the composition you wish to render in your Project window.

2. Choose Composition > Add to Render Queue.

3. In the Render Queue window, you'll need to adjust your Render Settings, Output Module and Output To options. For Render Settings, choose the pull-down menu, and select the "Multi-Machine Settings" option.

For Output Module, choose the pull-down menu, and select "Multi-Machine Sequence."

In both of these cases, you can adjust the actual settings by clicking on the options you've selected in the Current Render Details section of the Render Queue dialog.
